My First Manners – First Social Skills for Children Aged 2–4
My First Manners is a lovingly designed picture book for children aged 2-4 years .
With clear illustrations and cute characters, the youngest children learn in a playful way what they should do – and what they shouldn't .
Since children of this age cannot yet read, the focus is on the image: clear facial expressions, clear situations and short, easily understandable texts that parents can easily read aloud – even if German/English is not their native language.
The book teaches 10 basic manners that make it easier for children to learn good behavior.
✍️ Words from the author
The idea for this book came from my own experience as a mother.
My child suffered from speech difficulties at an early age and couldn't understand much of what adults explained. But pictures – with clear emotions and unambiguous actions – helped him grasp the meaning.
With My First Manners, I want to pass on exactly this experience: a book that gives children access to important behaviors through pictures and feelings , and offers parents a tool to guide their children simply and lovingly.
