Growing Up with Manners is a lovingly designed picture book for children aged 3-6 years .
With clear illustrations and child-friendly scenes, little ones playfully learn how to behave considerately and kindly in everyday life.
At this age, children begin to make more social contacts – in kindergarten, on the playground, or within the family. The pictures depict typical situations that they can easily recognize and help them understand the importance of respect, consideration, and helpfulness .
Short, easy-to-understand texts support parents when reading aloud and explain simple rules in a way that children can immediately put into practice. The book also remains a valuable companion for families whose native language is not German.
The book teaches 10 basic manners that make it easier for children to learn good behavior.
✍️ Words from the author
The idea for this book came from my own experience as a mother.
My child suffered from speech difficulties at an early age and couldn't understand much of what adults explained. But pictures – with clear emotions and unambiguous actions – helped him grasp the meaning.
With My First Manners, I want to pass on exactly this experience: a book that gives children access to important behaviors through pictures and feelings , and offers parents a tool to guide their children simply and lovingly.
